State and Local Recovery Fund Small Business Grant Program

        I.  The Town of Hamden received $24,140,338 in Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Funds authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and administered though the U.S. Department of Treasury to address local needs generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

a.      Town of Hamden Legislative Council allocated $200,000 for relief to small businesses negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

b.      Maximum grant award = $12,500.

c.      Funds will be disbursed using a cost reimbursement method of payment.

d.      Timeline: Application period: May 1, 2024, - May 31, 2024 at 4 PM. Awards will be announced in June 2024.
